Two more people are now in custody related to a robbery at London's Heathrow Airport in which over twenty individuals were injured by what is thought to be an irritant spray, according to law enforcement.

A 24-year-old man, was taken into custody in the Lambeth area on suspicion of theft and assault and a woman, 23 was arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit robbery. Both individuals are still being held, the force said.

The arrests come after a probe into an assault at the multi-level parking garage at Heathrow's Terminal 3 on Sunday. Prior to the attack, a pair of female travelers had stolen from them their luggage after getting out of a parking garage elevator.

A toddler aged three was one of the injured during the incident. Five people went to hospital for medical care and were later released.

Police detained a 31-year-old man for suspected robbery and assault near the scene. He was subsequently released under investigation while inquiries continue.

Authorities were called at about 08:10 GMT following reports of several individuals hurt by an irritating chemical believed to be pepper spray.

The assault - which police said was isolated and not being treated as an act of terror - caused train delays and the temporary shutdown of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the T3 parking facility briefly.
